Hey there

Cooking isn’t always fun or a mindful activity. Too many other things to do, too little time.

Unless you do it with Cook with Yoga - cooking offers a wonderful opportunity for us to train the mind to be present AND you can stuff your face at the end of it.

Treat Yo. Self.

Food that nourishes your soul needs to be healthy, but it also needs to be tasty and delicious! That's what I'm all about.

I often make vibrant curries to refuel me after my yoga practice, and supplement it with out-of-this-world energy balls that make everyone come back for more.

I want you to love your food and I want your food to be balanced, too.

My hope is that Cook with Yoga will offer you a space to get grounded and make you fall in love with cooking again.

Food gives you sustenance

Imagine not eating. I mean, for real, can you imagine that? I can’t; no way, no how. (I am so thankful that I have never had to experience real hunger). Working up my appetite when I'm fasting is a different thing.

The benefits of

mindful cooking

Mindfulness meditation — whether it’s practiced in the kitchen or on the couch — is proven to increase happiness and improve focus and satisfaction with life while reducing stress and irritability.

Cooking is an act of self-care, and reminds us that we are worthy of a home-cooked meal. What’s more, when you’re mindful of the ingredients you choose to cook with, the food you prepare will come out nourishing and deeply satisfying. And when you’re cooking mindfully for others, they will undoubtedly notice the care and consideration you’ve poured into their meal.
