My top 11 Savasana tunes for that epic feel-good feeling.

Updated: Aug 28

Music touches my heart. It always has.

When I first started teaching I couldn't imagine teaching without it. Since the inevitable transition online, I got more comfortable and started enjoying teaching in silence.

That doesn't change the fact that I love incorporating music into my yoga practice. In Sanskrit, yoga translates as “to yoke” or “union.” I often feel it's easier for me to connect with my body through the vibrations of music.

Sometimes music can be a crutch or a distraction. Sometimes it might be that catalyst for some deep feels to come out, you know?

Here's my list of my top 11 Savasana songs to end your yoga practice. Get indulgent with blankets and props, relax your body, soften your mind and simply let that shit go.

There's no hierarchy to this order, by the way.

Enjoy!

  1. 4lienetic - Wish you were here

  2. La Reve - Calm Rivers

  3. Moon Laika - Parts of reality

  4. Andrew Bayer - All This Will Happen Again

  5. Gustavo Santaolalla - De Ushuaia a la Quiaca

  6. Michael Hoppe - The Waiting

  7. Ludovico Einaudi - Experience

  8. Adham Shaikh - Warm Hope

  9. Meditation Music - Azure Sky

  10. Martin Kohlstedt - JIN 🤍

  11. Brambles - Half-Gramme Holiday

Let me know what you think. Bliss pending.

Much love,

Mags X
